TARA's 2nd season contestants were attractive + worthwatching. Especially the ladies. Most of them are pretty but not afraid to take the challenge. Can't wait to watch it. It will start on 22nd November on AXN channel 701 Astro. I really hope ladies will win again. Girl power yeah!!!

Kerana Karina

1st ever made-for-web drama, Kerana Karina (KK). The made-for-web drama, consisting of 20 four-minute episodes, was produced in partnership with Grand Brillance Sdn Bhd, the nation’s premier film production company.

KK revolves around Karina, a successful recording artiste who becomes an overnight pop princess with her debut album. In the process of recording her second album, Karina feels the pressure of holding on to her throne with ridiculously high expectations from her label and the media abuzz with predictions of a bigger hit. Her world goes into a frenzy when her album producer turns out to be her ex-flame from a failed relationship which had a great impact on her. Faced with the return of an unwanted past and the pressures from the media and her recording label, Karina and her entourage of managers, friends and hanger-ons try to make sense of what’s good and bad for her career.

Each episode of KK was developed to cleverly incorporate a provoking beginning, a climax and a gripping cliffhanger in just merely four minutes. The series looks set to keep viewers glued to their monitors and in anticipation of the next episode. Besides an appealing storyline riddled with twists and turns, KK’s strength lies in its powerhouse cast consisting of the best and brightest talents which have become household names in the entertainment industry today.

History–making Kerana Karina features rising star, Marsha Londoh playing the lead, Karina. The star-studded line-up includes award-winning actress Sazzy Falak, local heartthrob Zizan Nin, former Miss Malaysia Elaine Daly, thespian Chelsia Ng, model-cum-actor Alan Yun, ntv7’s Audition winner Razally Husin and making his acting debut, music maestro, Roslan Aziz.

The series is helmed by up-coming director Aidilfitri Mohamed Yunos, who effectively directed the stellar cast of the 20-episode drama in just ten days during the recent fasting month.

KK was the brainchild of its Executive Producer, Michael D’Oliveiro, who also leads the original video contents on GUA. Interestingly, the story was written by Alt Media Sdn Bhd’s General Manager of Lifestyle Portals himself, M. Zulkifli Abd Jalil. M. Zulkifli has been dabbling with lyric writing, co-authored a book, helmed the editorial of a prominent men’s magazine as well as a local tabloid, and thus is no stranger to content creation.

In fact, M.Zulkifli also wrote the lyrics to the theme song of KK, Yang Mana, which was composed and produced by seasoned songwriter, Azmeer. Yang Mana, sung by Marsha Londoh, will be part of Kerana Karina’s creative promotional strategy. The single can be heard over the radio airwaves from 1st November onwards and will also be available for download only on GUA.

At the launch cum press conference held today at the elegant Empress Café, the press was given a preview of KK’s trailer and the theme song, Yang Mana. The main cast as well as the steadfast forces behind the production of KK was present to field questions from the press.

“With a simple yet engaging storyline and a talented cast, we believe Kerana Karina will be a hit with GUA members as well as those who simply love their dramas. The short form format will also give the viewers a different but exciting experience,” says M.Zulkifli.

All 20 episodes of KK will be available for fans to download in December exclusively on GUA. GUA also has plans to release KK in a DVD format based on the response received from its inaugural season. A second season is also in talks.

“This is something that’s never been done before and we see tremendous opportunity to exploit drama content over the internet. I believe with the right cast and story, we’ll have a captive audience. Working with Grand Brilliance as a partner has also helped us put together a great ensemble of talent, both in front of and behind the camera,” added Michael D’Oliveiro.

GUA also took the opportunity to launch KK’s micro site. The micro site is dedicated and packed with cast’s bios and discography, a colourful behind the scenes’ photo gallery of KK’s 10-day shoot, a contest based on the series for fans to get a chance to win amazing prizes as well as a forum for fans to discuss and exchange views about the drama series.

Since monday when i start my car driving to work, i'll say loudly "today is a great day." I need to be positive. No not need. I want to be positive. I can be positive. For now on I am a new me. A positive me.

chibi maruko chan

Aku ni giler suka tengok tv. Kadang² apa je rancangan yang on aku boleh layan. Isnin lepas masa kat rumah emak, aku bosan dah tengok rancangan raya so aku tune kat animax. Chibi maruko chan baru nak start. Menarik gak ni. Aku sebenarnya tak pernah tengok betul² anime yang ni sebab tak berapa nak lawa lukisannya + maruko ni kurang ajo sket tapi episode hari tu aku terkusyuk plak. Episode ni cerita pasal parents maruko nak bercerai. Aku punya la kusyuk tengok sampai aku boleh menangis tersedu². Huhuhu. Emotionalkan aku? Selama ni aku tau yang maruko ni budak nakal. Lebih kurang cam Shin chan gak tapi episode kali ni betul² menyentuh perasaan aku. Especially time maruko + kakak dia menangis meraung² tanak parents derang bercerai. Ya Allah. Aku tak sangka aku boleh menangis tengok anime Chibi Maruko Chan. Kelakarkan?

Raya ke 7

Dah seminggu dah raya. Tahun ni aku dapat RM30 duit raya. Uhuk! Tua² pun ada orang nak bagikan? Alhamdulillah.

Macam biasa aku raya kat rumah tok + opah kat pulau 3. Tak semua mak cik pak cik ada tapi cukup la nak memeriahkan suasana.

Alhamdulillah sekali lagi sebab dapat juga aku menyambut shawal tahun ni. Moga tahun depan pun sama + lebih keberkatan.

Angkasawan pertama Malaysia : Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Sheikh Mustapha

Semalam pukul 9.21 pm seluruh rakyat Malaysia menyaksikan sejarah baru untuk negara kita. Kita dah ada angkasawan sendiri!!! Yeay!!! Memang cuak gak tengok kapal angkasa tu berlepas. Syukur alhamdulillah selamat. Esok baru derang sampai kat ISS.

Aku memang dah jangka yang ekspresi Dr Sheikh Muszaphar masa ni yang akan jadi gambar penghias suratkhabar hari ni. Manisnya senyuman dia. Sebelum tu nampak jelas mukanya yang agak panik selepas blast off tu. Tiba-tiba bila ada bahagian yang dilepaskan dari kapal angkasa tu Dr Sheikh tersentak dan boleh nampak mulutnya bergerak kata "wow" dan terus tersenyum. It will be the most memorable moment for him and for all the nation that been watching it. Bravo!!!

Aku penah bertegang leher pasal isu misi angkasa ni. Dengarnya angkasawan 2 orang ni hanya sebagai pelancong. Kita ada buat urusniaga dengan Rusia dan dapat ala² free voucher untuk hantar sorang angkasawan ke ISS. Jadinya angkasawan yang disebut² tu hanyalah "space traveller" bukan Astronaut. Kering gak tekak aku bertekak ngan dia dalam kereta masa tu. Maklumlah puasa. Dia tanya aku tak kecewa ke bila dapat tau angkasawan yang diheboh²kan rupanya hanya sebagai pelancong. Aku kata aku tak kecewa langsung. Ingat senang ke nak pergi ke angkasa lepas? Bayangkan dipilih daripada 11,275 orang yang memohon. Dah tu kena plak lulus dengan cemerlang macam² ujian untuk melayakkan diri. Bukan petik jari je tau. Katanya ujian² tu teruk dan orang biasa macam kita² ni takkan dapat merasa la nak lulus. Orang² yang luar biasa jer akan lulus ujian² tu. Sebab tu angkasawan selalu dipandang tinggi. It's not an easy shoe to fill.

Dia kata dia kecewa sebabnya banyak duit negara dilaburkan untuk misi ni. Semata² nak hantar pelancong ke angkasa. Hmm.. Jangan la pikir yang buruk². Negara kita ni kecik je. Siapa sangka negara kita ni ada orang yang layak untuk jadi angkasawan? Sejarah yang terukir semalam memang membukakan lagi mata rakyat dunia pada negara kita. Bukan kerja mudah nak harumkan nama negara. Terdiam juga bila dengar hujah aku. Heh heh.. Ini semua terpulang pada diri masing² nak pikir macamana. Sebaiknya pikir la secara positif. (^^)

Semalam masa tunggu kapal angkasa tu berlepas pengacara rancangan khas tu pun ada cakap yang mereka berdua, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar + Dr Faiz Khaleed ni memang dah ikhtiraf sebagai angkasawan kerana mereka lulus semua ujian dan mengikuti latihan seperti angkasawan² yang lain. So apa lagi yang tak betulnyakan...?

No matter what people say, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar you've done it and we a very proud of you. May Allah bless you always.

29th ramadhan + dah cuti raya dah!!

Hmm.. Rasa macam baru semalam start puasa. Hari ni dah tinggal lagi sehari jer puasa tahun ni. MasyaAllah.. Cepat betul masa berlalu.

Dah berapa hari aku tak up date blog ni sebabnya aku tak boleh nak login kat opis. Tatau apsal. Tensen btol rasanya. Gmail pun tak leh bukak. Apa hal ntah. Last friday ada technician installkan Vegas 3.0 kat pc aku sebab nak buat keje tapi ada benda yang tak cukup so dia kena donlodkan. Masa tu dah pukul 4.30 plak. Aku ni memang akan balik on time punya bulan puasa ni. Tambah la dia dah tunggu aku. Kisahnya aku tatau la apa technician tu buat kat pc aku sampai tak leh login blogger + gmail. Ciss!! Banyak perkara dah jadi weekend ari tu tapi dah jadi basi aku nak citer skang..

Hari ni aku start cuti raya dah. Subuh tadi pukul 6.00 aku bertolak dari rumah. Sampai rumah dia pukul 9.00. Alhamdulillah perjalanan sangat lancar. Skang dia tengah tidur sebab tak sihat. Dapat la aku update blog aku ni. Kalau tak jenuh la berebut sebab PC ada satu jer. Sian dia.. Sakit plak dah nak dekat raya ni. Tadi dia kena cucuk kat montot. Huhuhuhu

Kad raya 2007

Macam biasa, tiap² tahun aku akan design kad raya untuk hantar thru email so inilah hasilnya untuk hari raya kali ni. Dalam pada sibuk ngan keje render-merender sempat gak aku luangkan masa buat kad raya ni. Aku rasa dalam banyak² kad raya yang aku design ni la yang paling aku suka. Aku buat pun tak lama. Simple je. Kalau aku ada printer baek punya memang lama dah aku print dan jual. heh.. heh.. Ada ke orang nak beli???
